An unholy alliance between a Mac SE/30 (with System 7.5.3), playing 'canyon.mid' which was released with Microsoft Windows 3.1, 95 through to 2000. Cubase 2.5 is used and the MIDI output is sent to a Roland Sound Canvas 88-ST (SC88-ST) that I got from Japan last year. No MPU unit needed as I used a modem cable to link the Mac to the SC-88ST.
Bonus gear hooked up, an Xbox-360 Keytar for Rock Band 3 serving as a perfectly good little MIDI controller.
