The second single from Canty’s upcoming mixtape Dim Binge (31/1/25), 'Being It' is a haunting interpretation of Arthur Russell’s 1986 World of Echo original.

Recorded in a church - a coffin waiting in the middle for a funeral the next day - there was a cool tranquillity to the process, captured in the track’s eerie expanse and Canty’s deep drawl. “My interpretation of the song is the place in-between, the liminal space or bridge between two realities where you can be neither or both things simultaneously”, he says.
