One of the things I like to do for my drum students is to take a song that they enjoy and transcribe the drum part for them so they can play along to it. If the song doesn't have much of a drum part then I create one. I did that with this song and it's been a student favorite ever since. While the drum part may seem complicated to some, it's actually fairly simple. The beats are made up of only quarter notes and eighth notes, and most of it is linear, meaning only one part of the kit is played at a time.
