Can’t do push-ups? This video will help you out. I guarantee it. See, I occasionally get comments from people stating that they’re unable to do a single push-up. These comments often are written with a tone of hopelessness, like they’re just destined to never do push ups due to poor genetics or something. I’ve helped many people learn push ups, and trust me when I say that ANYONE can do them if they really want to. I explain in this video how we want to use the concept of progressive overload, same as we would building pushing strength with bench press, but we do so with push ups by varying the angle between your body and the floor. Applying this concept, along with using good form and some straight arm plank holds, you find the perfect recipe for beginners to learn push ups.
Happy new year! I hope you find the video helpful, and don’t forget to stay tuned for more tips and other fun and helpful content coming up!
