About the Author
Just in case you think of taking me too seriously, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself to dissuade you first. I’m a 24 year old manic depressive druggie bisexual Jewboy from Portland, Oregon. I’m a former /b/tard who escaped the cesspool that is 4chan and discovered Something Awful as a lurker back in 2010. I majored in Biochemistry/LSD consumption at the University of Oregon before dropping out to save the world through a combination of political activism and selling drugs. That eventually morphed into just selling and consuming drugs. After that devolved into a brief yet intense heroin habit, I was effectively homeless for a year before eventually landing a job at a second rate data collection firm, were I’ve been since.
Below is what has been my pet project for the past five years, pieced together from about two dozen smaller projects. It is split into two parts; one concerning consciousness on an individual level and one applying it, as well as a number of other connecting theories, on a larger, universal scale.
Take everything you read with a grain of salt. You have been warned.
An Integrated 8-Circuit Model of Paradoxical Consciousness
It is hard to find a place to start since this theory loops back on itself, but if I had to pick someone I’d start with ((Douglas Hofstadter)). In his book, GEB: An Eternal Golden Braid, Hofstadter outlines a mechanism by which consciousness may arise in the form of a Godelian loop [...]
[ ... many paragraphs later ... ]
[..] at this point, we have a decent picture of the Qualia; a near infinite series of Godelian Looped Neural Pathways that are Quantumly Entangled with other Pathways with up to 8 perceptual-dimensional circuits that allow the Observer to engage with the mind in ways that can fundamentally alter perceived reality to the point where the alterations are indistinguishable from the former reality. We all carry a copy of the universe inside our Brains that we can, and do, alter at will. We just dont always know it.
Part 2 will pick up below, tomorrow. ATTENTION: SUBSCRIBERS](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nbT7P8abgD4/mqdefault.jpg)
