"Humming Dunes" is the perfect EP opener with a slow building structure that leads you on a mysterious journey. With atmospheric textures, sitar samples, and Arabic notation, this mystical track tantalises the senses with its captivating atmosphere.

Swiss artist Canson bought his first synthesiser in 1994 and after years of experimentation made his first official release in 2000. That first release was in collaboration with Cosili, and following that the pair launched their Anatol alias, which soon lead to live set bookings at places like the world famous Robert Johnson club in Frankfurt.

It wasn’t long before Canson was also releasing solo records and his individual back catalogue now includes imprints such as KATERMUKKE, Cityfox and Bar 25 Music amongst others. Also a key part of the underground music scene in his home city of Zürich, he is an accomplished DJ with regular local and international bookings.

This is Canson’s third appearance on Sol Selectas and along with his two original tracks, the EP also features a remix from Ninze.

Sol Selectas is a label run by US artist Sabo, and the label matches his deep and tribal sound. The artwork is designed by his fiance Helia Jamali, and is carefully created to visualise the individual sound of each release.
