I have been using my EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II for 10 years for landscapes, birds and other wildlife photography. For my trip to Costa Rica, I borrowed the much lighter and more compact Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS. In this video I would like to report on my experiences and compare it with the older EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II in terms of image sharpness, autofocus, reproduction scale and construction.
