The Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 IS STM is small, light and, at a price of around €400, not very expensive. However, due to the short focusing distance, it achieves an image scale of up to 1:2, which makes it very interesting as a wide-angle macro lens. I almost always have this lens in my backpack and use it for close-ups of flowers or other plants, habitat shots (wide-angle shots) of mammals and birds and occasionally for landscapes. In this video I would like to talk about my experiences with the lens.
