My BEST settings on the Canon EOS R8!
I use these settings on MOST Canon cameras for video & photo.

I forgot to mention my settings I use for interval photo shooting & time-lapses, so I'll mention them below.

Interval Shooting:
Interval - 3-10 sec
No. of shots - 0 (Unlimited)

I'll use 3 seconds for quick self portraits or closer to 10 seconds if I'm needing more time to position myself.

Time-lapses:
Interval - 3-15 sec
No. of shots - 300-500

For simple & quick time-lapses, I'll stay around 3 second intervals.

For slow moving objects & longer time-lapses, I'll stay around 7-10 second intervals.

If I'm shooting a day-to-night or night-to-day time-lapse, I'll set Auto Exposure to "Each frame" & also use "Aperture priority".
