Cannonball Express (formerly known as Enigma) is a steel roller coaster located at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, UK. It is the only Schwarzkopf Jumbo V model ever built.
The ride was originally built in 1983 and travelled with the German showman company Kinzler under the name Münchner Super 8 Bahn. The ride then operated at Rotunda Amusement Park in England, where it opened in 1988.[1] The ride was then moved to Pleasurewood Hills in 1995.
It reopened as Cannonball Express with a "Runaway Mine Train" theme. In 2005, the theming elements were removed.[2] At this point, the name was changed to Enigma. For the 2017 season, the name was reverted to Cannonball Express.

![Hyperia Thorpe Park Tallest Coaster in the UK 4K POV
Come for a POV video of the ride Hyperia Thorpe Park. I use my Gopro 12 Black to record this ride. This video was taken on the 2026 during fright nights. I have put the links for Thorpe Park website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Thorpe Park.
The UKs tallest & fastest rollercoaster
Dominating the Thorpe Park skyline is a remarkable new feat of engineering: Hyperia, the tallest, fastest, and most weightless rollercoaster in the UK. Soaring to an impressive 236 feet, this stunning steel structure invites thrill-seekers from all over to Discover Their Fearless. With over 995 meters of intricate track and speeds surpassing 80 mph, inspired by the legendary daughter of an ancient River God who confronted her fears, Hyperia is more than just a ride - it’s a celebration of the incredible strength within each of us. Experience the sensation of weightlessness, fearlessness, and invincibility.
On 1st November 2022, full planning permission was given to construct Project Exodus.[3]
In July 2023, the first delivery of supports for the ride arrived.[4]
In August 2023, it was announced that whilst also taking the record for being the UKs tallest coaster, it will also take the record for being the fastest.[5]
On 5 October 2023, the park released a computer-generated POV and announced that the new coaster would be called Hyperia.[6]
On 11 October 2023, the first supports and three pieces of track were installed.[7] On 17 October 2023, the first of the white supports were installed.[8]
On 17 February 2024, the first pieces of the 236 foot tall lift hill has been put in place.[9]
On 29 February 2024, the first drop was mostly completed, with the only track sections left to be installed being lift hill pieces.
On 1 March 2024, the last piece of track, being a straight lift hill piece, was delivered to the construction site.
On 6 March 2024, the last two pieces of track, being the crest of the lift hill, were installed.[10] Later that month, it was announced that Hyperia would open on 24 May 2024.[11]
Hyperia opened on 24 May 2024.[12] The day after opening, the coaster was closed due to an unspecified problem. It reopened on 12 June 2024.[13] On 19 June, Thorpe Park stated Hyperia would not open for the day due to unforeseen circumstances. This was due to the train rolling back in the outer banked turn.[14][15]

I have put the links for Thorpe Park website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Thorpe Park.
Colossus is a steel roller coaster located within the Lost City themed area at Thorpe Park in Chertsey, Surrey, England, UK.[1] When it opened on 22 March 2002, Colossus was the first roller coaster with ten inversions and the first major roller coaster at the park. An exact replica, called 10 Inversion Roller Coaster, was later built at Chimelong Paradise in China in 2006 and several more 10-Inversion coasters have since been built with a revised layout. Colossus and 10 Inversion Roller Coaster held the record until May 2013, when The Smiler opened at Alton Towers with fourteen inversions.
The initial plan for Colossus was a launched Bolliger & Mabillard Sitting Coaster, much like The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universals Islands of Adventure.[citation needed] This was eventually cancelled in favour of a multi-inversion roller coaster from Intamin. The ride was announced in August 2001.[2] During planning, the ride was known as Project Odyssey.[3][4] The final piece of track was installed on 8 November 2001.[5]
Colossus opened on 22 March 2002.
After the 2022 season, some sections of track were removed.[6]
The ride was repainted during the 2023-2024 off-season.[7]
