Making and Canning Hamburger Vegetable Soup | Beef Vegetable Soup Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
5 lbs. ground beef - cook, chopped and brown
2 cups diced onions
5 stalks diced celery
5 medium diced carrots
1 - 28oz. can drained corn
1 - 28oz. can diced tomatoes
3 cups diced cabbage
6 medium diced potatoes
4 qts. chicken or beef broth
1/2 tsp. salt and black pepper
2-3 tsp. better than chicken bouillon
2 bay leaves
Add broth, diced tomatoes and seasonings. Bring to simmer, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Add vegetables and bring back up to simmer.
Take out bay leaves and turn off heat.
Proceed with canning.
