Part seven of our epic Canning Stock Route Crossing by 4wd. The CSR Traverses three Australian Outback Deserts namely the Great Sandy Desert, the Gibson Desert and the Little Sandy Desert and covers over 1800km of Desert 4wd without access to a modern hospital or emergency services. We are leaving the stunning Rudall River Karlamilyi NP one of the most amazing places I have seen and making our way towards Lake Disappointment [Kumpumpintil]. We spend a night there and hope not to get eaten by the Ngayurnangalku spirits hiding under the lake according to indigenous mythology. In the second last Episode of the Darling River Run 4wd Touring series, I explore Menindee Lakes which I finally managed to see with water. I find a beautiful secluded bush camp on Pamomaroo Lake and enjoy the Sunset and Sunrise. In the night the weather turned very windy again with plenty of rain forecast so I decided to drive and further explore Menindee lakes and the Kinchega NP and the weather turns ugly on me.")

After having had several Camper Trailers in the past I wanted again a Camper Trailer for my Family Camping Trips. I wanted a Patriot/ Drifta DOT Style trailer but without a 70k price tag. After a lot of research, I decided to purchase a Signature Deluxe II Off-Road Trailer which cost under 20k and spend a little extra to give it an Electrical Fit-out suitable to my needs. I worked together with Joe from JS Auto Electrics who did the whole fit-out.
Every component and part is first researched by me for suitability in the build I then contact the manufacturer and some of the parts then provided for review and testing purposes, however, no company paid for a review or has any influence over the content of my reviews.

On this Simpson Desert 4wd Adventure, we are only two cars, Steve in his Landcruiser Troop Carrier and myself with my 13-year-old daughter Summer in the Landcruiser 105. In this episode, we are making our way towards the Simpson Desert and Explorer along the Oodnadatta Track. I always wanted to sleep inside one of the Old Siding Stations, and my wish came true this time. Old Peak Telegraph station is something I drove past many times (as its a 25km detour), but this time we managed to explore it, and I can say its well worth the bumpy and corrugated ride. We also check in to Mt Dare and Visit Old Andado Station before starting the Madigan Line.
