This is a beautiful rattlesnake that is very widespread across the United States. They have striking facial stripes that almost remind me of Cantils because of their vividness. This was my first viridis ever, and she was a joy to encounter.

My name is Orry Martin: The Texas Snake Hunter. This documentary is about the Canebrake Rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus atricaudatus). They are a threatened species in the state of Texas and should not be handled, harassed, or killed. Their numbers have been declining due to habitat loss and unnecessary slaying. Please help to raise awareness in order to ensure that these gorgeous serpents stay in Texas.
