I am a Canadian and have been in Cancun for 2 weeks.
This video is about my Covid testing while there.
Antigen test:
On the day after my arrival I has an antigen test at Haven Riviera Cancun as required by a work function I had to attend.
It was free, quick and easy and I was handed the results then and there.
PCR test:
On my return to Canada, I booked my PCR test within the 72 hour window while staying at Secrets Playa Mujeres, paid $90.00 usd, and received the results with 12 hours by email.
Cost varies from resort to resort.
I was anxious as I have not traveled in 22 months but it was easier than I expected.
I am planning to return in the spring.

If you are paying the Visitors tax at your resort, keep the receipt - cost is $13.00 CAN per stay, not per night.
If you have to pay on line: quintanarootax.com/visitax-application-form
This is not charged on the West Coast of Mexico
