This Fine Art Friday, I am revealing my next major art project. I am starting a series of 13 portraits in which I try to convey the beautiful and diverse landscape of Canada, while capturing the strength and multicultural spirit of the woman who call it home. I will be doing one for each province and territory and will feature the provincial flower and bird for each area, along with other notable landmarks/qualities. I will start by explaining the elements of my first portrait of Ontario. I will also show the process of painting the provincial bird of my next project. You will have to identify the bird and find out what province I will reveal next week.
