For 2022, we have re-branded Canada's largest animal welfare event to Humane Canada's Summit for Animals. Previously known as the National Animal Welfare Conference, this yearly event brings together the animal welfare community from across Canada and abroad.
The 2022 event will be hosted throughout the month of May in a hybrid format, both online, and in-person in beautiful Banff, Alberta.

Sandra Archibald, Executive Director at New Hope Dog Rescue, shares her experience attending our recent Summit for Animals conference in Whistler.
She said, You can stop somebody in the hallway and go, Oh, my goodness, your presentation was wonderful. Its amazing. I learned so much. I have these questions, and they will take time to talk with you, and if its somebody from a different organization, you thought, oh, what do we have in common? You find those common threads.
