Last week's announcement by the RCMP that it was retroactively declaring the Crusader Arms Crypto rifle a variant of the AR-15, despite the fact that it was specifically designed by the company and approved by the RCMP not to be, endangered a lot of hostility in the Canadian gun community. The Redneck Preppy wonders if the RCMP also created a rationale for some gun owners to not comply with the law any longer.
