Though she did not offer her stance on the matter, Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order to rename Lake Ontario as “Lake America” in the U.S. Anand called the Great Lake a “beautiful and important body of water” and said she “reflected on the importance of Lake Ontario” during a walk with her dogs by it earlier in the morning. #LakeOntario #LakeAmerica #Canada
