When asked by Globe and Mail reporter Eric Andrew-Gee when Ottawa will come back to the negotiating table with Washington to hammer out a trade deal, Prime Minister Mark Carney said his trade delegation won’t accept attitudes that see Canada as a "subsidiary" of the United States.
Carney's comments come after U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Canada would come back to the table due to the country’s dependence on the States for security.
