Electric motorcycles are the future, or so we are told, but can you tour on one?

Last summer we sent our man Mikko, a dedicated petrolhead if ever there was one, on a road trip to Scotland to find out.

Armed with a Zero DSR/X, a bike the American manufacturer dubs the world's first electric adventure bike, and a bunch of apps, our experienced motorcycle tourer headed up the A1 and hit the Highlands.
