It's no secret our team members love Sailor pens and with the introduction of their new steel nib and new gold nibs on their 1911L models, we've all been testing them out a lot to familiarize ourselves with the new models. We thought it would be fun to put these nibs to the real test to see: can you really tell the difference between a steel nib and a gold nib? It turns out, you kind of can if you're very familiar with Sailor nibs, which most people on our team are! Not everyone was able to identify every single nib correctly, but most people were able to distinguish between the gold versus the steel due to the distinct softness and feedback found in the Sailor gold nibs.
