This painting meant so much to me that I just had to post it again. This is Tuhoe, an ex-gang leader from New Zealand. He’s a modern Saul to Paul story, Christ ended up helping him turn his life around and become a force for good. Now he helps youth get out of gangs and live a more purpose-filled life.
It turns out he makes for an awesome portrait subject, too! To my NZers here… can you tell I’m a Goldie fan???
