The PS5 and Xbox Series X will soon be releasing in November 2020. RDR2 Online will most likely be available through backwards compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Rumors suggest RDR2 will be re-released on next-gen including the Rockstar Editor and more. A character transfer is still to be confirmed for Red Dead Online progress.
