Today we’re kicking off **Phase One** of an experiment that I believe could have a *massive* impact on how we think about audible differences in Hi-Fi.
I’ve taken **five songs**, all recorded in the Sound Shed, and created **A/B sound clips** using the exact same setup:
* same room
* same speakers
* same mics
* same gain
* same levels
* same everything
Except for **ONE single change**.
I won’t reveal what that change is until **Phase Two**, which drops next week.

Each song has its own folder with an A and a B file.
These are high-resolution, in-room recordings, so please **download** them — don’t stream them. Google Drive’s player will downsample and soften the details.

## ⭐ **HOW TO PARTICIPATE**
To keep this fun, honest, and community-driven, here’s how I want you to approach this:
**1) Download the clips — don’t stream them.**
You’ll only hear the true 24/192 quality once they’re downloaded.
**2) Listen however you want.**
Speakers, headphones, car — it’s up to you.
But a good pair of headphones will give you the clearest shot at hearing what’s going on.
**3) Head to the Community Tab and vote.**
You’re not voting which one you liked more —
just **whether you heard a difference** between A and B.

* A is always A, and B is always B across all five tracks.
No flipping. No shuffling. No tricks.
* This is a listener-driven blind test — your ears decide what happens in Phase Two.
* The reveal of what actually changed will be in next week’s video.

If enough of you hear a difference — or don’t —
this could lead to one of the most important conversations we’ve ever had on the channel about:
* perception
* system variables
* what matters
* what doesn’t
* and how we evaluate audio in the real world
This is **Phase One**.
Phase Two is where I reveal what changed — and show you the objective side of this test.
