Well hello. I have too many things to say about the last episode of the donghua. First of all, what the actual fuck was that??? Even if the artistic direction was beatiful, the characterization was.....awful. They just butchered Jiang Cheng's character completely and they also made changes that made wwx and lwj horrible in this situation???? Jiang Cheng was disrespected so much I actually am so furious about how they handled the whole situation.
It's like crashing all hopes for yunmeng brothers to end up having a catharsis over their relationship, to clearly move on WHICH IS SOMETHING BOTH THE NOVEL AND THE UNTAMED SHOW, LIKE??? WHY ARE U JUST MAKING JIANG CHENG SUFFER AND WALLOW IN MISERY??? HASN'T HE HAD ENOUGH????
Yes I hate this. I despise it. Also the directing from going from this heavy angst which is so important to the plot to just wangxian being lovey dovey makes me sick, there is no flow whatsoever. UGHHH I will end up writing like a novel about it so I should stop here.
Well I had planned to edit like a bunch of bittersweet songs with JC but after this, I tried for like 6 hours and kept giving up bc I couldn't, there was nothing bittersweet abt that ending, it was just fucked up. I can't believe they ruined his character like this, damn it. Anyway, my son didn't deserve this, I hope you enjoy the edit, I am sorry it's not the best, honestly I am quite tired and editing has been kinda tough for a bit, which is why I barely upload anything dshhsd, but I really needed to edit something for Jiang Cheng.
Dedication to Pearly who suffered with me when we watched the episode yesterday and to anyone else who loves Jiang Cheng. I would dedicate it to more people but I can't think many who are up to date ddhsdshdshd.
