Is Ragnarok Zero Global really pay-to-win?

I've seen that question everywhere over the last few days, so instead of arguing about it, I decided to test it myself.

I created a fresh Swordsman, ignored the cash shop, and spent an entire day playing the game to see what the experience is actually like for a regular player.

Can we still progress normally?
Can we still enjoy the game without spending?
Or will we eventually hit a paywall that forces us to open our wallet?
