A recurring mechanic in the souls games is the ability to summon non playable characters to help you in boss fights. While they are present in every game, the one which easily has the largest amount of them in Dark Souls 2. So it got me to thinking. Can you beat the whole game up to and including the final boss using only these NPC summons to do damage? This means I am not allowed to attack any enemies or bosses in any way and yes that includes wearing the butterfly armour to poison them, it’s not environmental damage, shut up. I will be mainly using healing miracles as Dark Souls 2 made it so most of them do also affect allies. I thought this run would be funny and memey for the most part but I really wasn’t prepared for the RNG hell I was about to subject myself to. Worth mentioning before we start, there were a couple times we had to…er….think outside the box to proceed with certain parts.
