Is it possible to beat Chesty at his game of chess in Sunset house? Does anything change?

I feel they missed an opportunity here to add an easter egg. They should have had Chesty exclaim "Hits!" before continuing with the usual outcome or something small like this if time was an issue. The fact it's not acknowledged is a bit disappointing.
