This is a Hardcore Nuzlocke of Pokémon Platinum. It’s my first Nuzlocke ever!
Rules:
1. If a Pokémon faints, it is dead. If I white out, the run is over.
2. I may only catch the first Pokémon I encounter in a location. If I have already caught another Pokémon in that species’ family, I must skip it; I may catch the next Pokémon I encounter instead. Locations are distinguished by the “Met at” label in a Pokémon's Summary page.
3. Battle Mode is Set.
4. No items may be used in battle. Balls and held items are allowed.
5. Before the start of each gym leader battle, no Pokémon may out-level the ace of the next gym leader. No over-leveled Pokémon may be used in battle. Any Pokémon who exceeds the level cap must immediately switch out. The cap before entering the Elite Four is determined by the ace of the fourth Elite Four member.
