Donald Trump’s son-in-law and Special Envoy for Peace, Jared Kushner, is pushing to revive Trump’s Gaza peace roadmap.
Kushner met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Issac Herzog to try and convince them to take the deal.
Netanyahu insists there can be no progress on the stalled deal unless Hamas disarms.
A day before in Egypt Kushner held rare talks with President Abel-Fattah al Sisi and Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya about the peace plan.
The Gaza roadmap includes a phased disarmament of Hamas and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops.
Since Israel signed the ceasefire in October, it has killed at least 1,250 Palestinians and wounded more than 4,100, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry
