This is the last session of my recent track day in the Mk7 Fiesta ST MP215. The Pirelli P-Zero Nero GT tyres had had enough quite early in the session and there was lots of understeer but still just enough to annoy the BMW owner.
For those in a less fortunate climate, that big white ball of light at the top of the screen coming down the straight is the sun.
Internet feelings disclaimer: I'm not saying a Fiesta ST is quicker than a BMW 1M on a fast track. On this day this is the fun I had.
The car is basically as it was delivered from Ford new with the Mountune MP215 Kit. The only changes to the car were the Mountune Symposer Delete and Rear Roll Restrictor, Oz Racing wheels, Pirelli tyres and the brake upgrade (pads, discs, lines and fluid). Better brakes that can cope with the heat should be a bare minimum must for track days.
