Everybody is quoting Hamilton these days. Usually out of context. They are hoping that the electoral college will over turn the electoral vote. Legally, it's possible. Morally, it's desirable. But practically, it's not going to happen. And if it did, we'd be having even messier elections in the future than we have today.
