I would love to have a Groo the Wanderer Funko Pop! I'd love to have a whole shelf full of Funkos depicting all of Sergio Aragonés Groo the Wanderer characters! While I wait for Funko and Sergio to collaborate on an official Groo Funko Pop, I think I'll try designing my own!
First, I take a look at some recently announced Funko Pops that are near the same fan space as Groo the Wanderer: Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman and Thundarr the Barbarian. Then I investigate what it would take for Funko to consider licensing Groo for a Pop! The biggest sticking point is would Sergio Aragonés allow Groo to be made into a Funko Pop, so I explore some of the other toys/items that he has allowed.
Finally I get to the fun part of designing a Groo the Wanderer Funko Pop! I show my sketches, designing the Pop on the computer and then I show-off what I've made!
