Welcome to my hiking and wild camping channel! My name is Martin, and I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves exploring nature and sleeping under the stars.
In this video, it's just me pretty much talking to camera as I'm out on my evening power walk, in training for the GR11, which take me from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea!
I also touch upon why now and my reasons for wanting to attempt it, as well as how grief has stopped me having a fulfilling life over the last 2 or 3 years and my past experiences of dealing with it.
I also have a little rant about how some bigger outdoor channels just constantly moan about how difficult being a Youtuber is.
I created this channel to share my adventures with you and inspire you to get outside and experience the beauty of the great outdoors for yourself. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just starting out, there's something here for everyone. If you are looking to reinvigorate your life after years of being in a slump, depression, grief, loneliness or just lack of motivation then I hope my videos and sometimes my words can you help you in some way.
I believe that spending time in nature is one of the most rewarding experiences we can have as humans as it allows us to connect with ourselves and the world around us in a deep and meaningful way.
I live in Spain and try to get to the mountains as much as I can, to help me wind down after a week at work and to recharge my batteries. It's also a time to reflect on many things and to observe the magnificent wild life and scenery that Spain has to offer.
I also make occasional trips out of Spain to go wild camping there too.
