I thought starting a handbag brand began with making a bag.
I was wrong.
In this video, I’m taking the very first step toward building my luxury handbag brand, Girlee Girl Handbags. What started as a search for a logo manufacturer quickly turned into lessons about molds, minimum order quantities, metal hardware, shipping costs, production requirements, and the realities of creating a brand from scratch.
After building Sew Girlee Bags and selling hundreds of handmade products, I thought I had a good idea of what to expect. But this journey has me learning all over again.
