Any chance I get to go head-to-head with Joey Chestnut, I’m taking it.
One week after Nathan’s, the top eaters in the world rolled into Seabrook, New Hampshire for the inaugural Saugus Wing Eating Championship. The field was stacked with Joey Chestnut, Geoff Esper, Patrick Bertoletti and the rest of the best, all chasing the first-ever title.
The crowd was loud, and let’s be honest, most of them were chanting Joey’s name. 😅
But when the final buzzer sounded, the trophy was coming home with me.

Sometimes the loudest cheers aren’t for the winner. That’s okay. I’ll take the trophy, the world record, and the win over the GOAT any day.
