The Earth has perished, the last survivors were placed into cryosleep and a skeleton crew selected to find a new place for humanity. Due (probably) to commie mutant treachery the ship has been crippled and only the reactivation of a very friendly AI and a handful or service bots will give the remaining survivors any hope of survival...
