“Driving an electric vehicle in the winter is awesome.” It might not be the sentiment most Albertans expect, but that's Shawn Thomas' experience after years of driving electric in our climate. In this episode, we catch up with Shawn, an EV Ambassador for Plug’n Drive, at its EVs are for EVeryone tour stop in Edmonton. He shares practical insights on some of the biggest questions Albertans have about electric vehicles, from winter driving and range anxiety to charging and road-tripping. He also explains how going on a test drive—with an EV Ambassador—helps people make more informed decisions about whether an EV is right for them.

As part of the EVs are for EVeryone tour, the Mobile EV Education Trailer is parked at AMA Edmonton South until August 30. Test drives are available in a range of EVs Thursday to Sunday.
