ChatGPT 5 just came out and I wanted to see if I could use text prompts to generate the SLT files for 3D printing. Other text-to-CAD programs are in development but have not caught on.
Using a free GPT account you have a data analysis limit of about 5 prompts, which doesn't give you a lot of room to play with the design. It did render a great image of a tiny cabin, but I'll have to come back tomorrow to try the STL file again. It kicked out an OpenSCAD code for a cabin-ish object, but not the clean STL I've seen in other test.
