Today we're talking about SIFO aka small intestinal fungal overgrowth. Most commonly in my experience this is Candida growing in the small bowel and it can mimic a SIBO presentation - bloating, gas, food reactions, diarrhoea or constipation - so much that you might be sure you have SIBO. And then the SIBO breath testing comes back negative.

Here I would start to be suspecting a fungal overgrowth instead, either we test for it using the OAT testing, or simply treat it as a fungal overgrowth and look for improvements in the case.
