At the heart of this groundbreaking initiative is the Figure 02 robot, the worlds most advanced humanoid robot. Equipped with unmatched dexterity and precision, Figure 02 can autonomously execute a wide range of tasks traditionally performed by humans. From inserting sheet metal parts to assembling complex components, this humanoid robot demonstrates remarkable capabilities in handling intricate production processes with millimeter-level accuracy. Figure 02s advanced features include three times the processing power of its predecessor, enhanced voice communication, high-performance cameras and sensors, and human-scale hands with 16 degrees of freedom. These innovations make the Figure 02 robot an invaluable asset in optimizing production efficiency while prioritizing the well-being of BMW employees by reducing the need for repetitive and strenuous tasks.
