Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women, and in the UK, staff shortages lead to a backlog of people waiting for mammography scans. Google partnered with Imperial College London and three NHS trusts to see if AI can help reduce the overall workload for radiologists, allowing them to focus their care on patients who need it the most.
