Can a big-box store sauna from Costco or Sam's Club actually be any good?
I saw this Backyard Discovery 4-6 Person Cedar Outdoor Cube Sauna with Electric Heater & Glass Door at Sam’s Club and couldn’t resist the experiment. It's called the Lennon Outdoor Cube Sauna on the Backyard Discovery website. A traditional Finnish-style sauna sitting in the backyard for a fraction of the price of custom builds? It sounded almost too good to be true.
So I bought one. After assembling it, wiring it up, and using it almost every day, I learned a few things the product page definitely doesn’t tell you. Some good. Some surprising. And yes… a few mistakes along the way.
