I took the plunge of $87.97 and got me a Indio Cali Classic Monoprice guitar.
I was blown away how good this guitar is. Don't get me wrong there were some issues like slightly sharp fret ends buy my wife's nail files took care of that. Also from playing on it for several hours , my fingers are all black, but I'll put new strings on tomorrow. I have to clean the fret board now any way because of what ever was on those strings. I did have to put some neck relief in . The action is good and I can't believe how good the intonation is.
This would be a great gift for a child. Not a lot of money invested if the child gives it up.
