They’re an extra set of eyes and ears trained to keep the campus community safe. Campus Service Officers (CSO) report suspicious activity so police can respond as needed. The non-sworn positions are performed by student staff who work in pairs to patrol on and off campus in marked vehicles. In the past, these types of roles have led students to pursue a career in law enforcement.
