On the fourth day, we first have to cross several mountain passes, and the trail is quite steep. We 've already descended a thousand meters and walked about six kilometers, and we are still continuing our steady, downward descent.
The reason we 're camping beneath the glacier today is that we met a young man from the Kirgiz ethnic group. He told us that during the day, as the temperature rises, the glacier melts and the river swells significantly, making it impossible for us to cross today.
So, we 'll wait until tomorrow morning to cross the river and reach another mountain pass.
