Camping in Newfoundland Episode 4. This video covers days 12, 13 and 14 of a two week long camping trip I did in July of 2023. I camp in two Provincial Parks - Notre Dame and then Frenchman's Cove. l enjoyed my time outdoors with some great meals and some fun kayaking, taking photos and of course a few campfires.
Notre Dame Provincial Park offers 100 campsites in a lovely forested area. They feature a picnic table, fireplace and space for your vehicle, most accommodating larger RVs. And many are nestled along the winding stream that flows through the park.
Frenchman’s Cove Provincial Park offers 75 campsites in a lovely forested area. Each campsite features a picnic table, fireplace and space for your vehicle, most accommodating larger RVs. Frenchman’s Cove Provincial Park is a real gem with 51 hectares of varying habitat that will fascinate any visitor! Its natural freshwater barachois and short hiking trail offer fantastic views and the park’s location make it a great home base as you explore the Heritage Run and the beautiful communities up and down this coast.
