U.S. Marines with Golf Company, Marine Combat Training Battalion (MCT), School of Infantry – West conduct Live-Fire and Maneuver on Camp Pendleton, Calif., Mar. 15, 2018. Golf Co. is the first integrated male/female MCT Company on the West Coast.
In the past, female Marines attended MCT - East at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as it is closer to Parris Island, South Carolina, where all female recruits graduate from Marine Corps Recruit training.
All enlisted non-infantry Marines must attend Marine Corps Combat Training (MCT) regardless of gender. For Infantry Marines there's SCHOOL OF INFANTRY (SOI) training.
