GoYvon | Camels on the road and exploring the Grand Bazaar in Urumqi @GoYvon | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
On the last day of my Silk Road road trip we drive from the grasslands in Balikun all the way to Urumqi, in the far west. The ride is long; it takes us about 6 - 7 hours before we get to Xinjiang. On our way we stop at supermarkets for delicious bread, enjoy the beautiful scenery, are surprised by the enormous traffic jam, and encounter some camels on our way.
In Urumqi we first eat some lunch, including delicious lamb skewers. After that we're ready to explore the Grand Bazaar!
