📍Mysore is full of food surprises — and today we found more than we bargained for! 🇮🇳
We set out looking for a traditional Mysore milk sweet, made by a family that has been producing it for more than 80 years.
Then came the incredible Mysore Maharaja coffee, ginger coffee and a very unusual traditional pudding called Ginnu.
But that was just the beginning…
We head into the back streets of Mysore (Mysuru) with Shamith @mysurufoodie to revisit one of my favourite food stalls from years ago, discover incredible puri, samosas and chaat, try a rose-petal dessert and the traditional Nannari drink — before finishing the day with one of my favourite Indian desserts, gulab jamun.
Tiny stalls, old recipes, big flavours and a LOT of food.
